In a sharecropping contract, if the owner doubts whether the tenant is an adult or mentally capable, does the principle of "correct after finishing" apply to rectify the contract after its formation or not?
Answer
In the name of Allah, my son, in financial transactions, corruption persists unless validity is achieved. The principle of " correct after finishing" in matters of worship is based on the statement of Imam Al-Sadiq (AS): "Whatever has passed from your prayer, purification, or any doubt, continue it as it is." As for transactions, corruption is the default unless the validity of the contract is established. It is not permissible for either party to enter the ownership of the other unless the contract is valid. Allah is the Guide, and He is the All-Knower.
