In the name of Allah, the work of the Prophet (PBUH), its ruling, and the biography of Muslims to date, and the correct and considered narrations held by all Muslims say that throwing stones is obligatory. Moreover, throwing stones is not throwing idols, it is throwing at a rock that was erected since the time of the Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) in a place where Satan tried to distract him and divert his son from their religious duty. Throwing is a symbolic stoning of Satan, not stoning of idols. Allah knows best.
